We celebrated Easter for the first time as a family this year. We are not at all religious and I’ve been very hesitant to participate in these kinds of holidays as it’s not what we believe. However, after a change of heart and an immersive Christmas experience back in the US, we’ve fully decided to celebrate each holiday and think of it like a big themed party! It really is about us all coming together and making memories, and that’s just what we did.

A couple of other families that we know from our Mother’s Group came along to celebrate with us. Our kids have grown up together since our Mother’s Group was formed about 3 months after they were born as a community run set of classes to help new mums. I desperately needed this as I had missed antenatal classes, all prep since Little A came early, and the total lack of exposure of little people in my life. These women have been an absolute godsend so to speak. We have gone through so much together, and I am eternally grateful for their love, support, and fellowship.

Since we were hosting Easter, we had to do a traditional American egg dying, and omitted all chocolate Easter eggs for the hunt. Here are some of the pics from the very enjoyable day:
